Free Media and Democratic Progress in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, 2000

Objective
To bridge initiatives between Yugoslavia and Romania, from media, civil society and political parties, by acknowledging the crucial importance of independent media within all democratic processes. The event was an opportunity for fine-tuning the discourse of media and political parties when trying to better reach their audience.

Outcome
51 participants, personalities from the international media, representatives of Yugoslavian and Romanian media, Yugoslavian and Romanian civil society, Yugoslavian democratic political parties, Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry, members of the Advisory Board for the Stability Pact.
