Objective
To increase cooperation and civil society’s role (NGOs, citizens) in the process of elaborating decisions at the level of public administration.

Target group
Non-governmental organizations from Zrenjanin municipality and area and Timis and Arad counties area, citizens, elected representatives at the level of Zrenjanin Municipality and Timis and Arad counties.

Outcome
Created an efficient Task Force on Cross-border Co-operation dealing with local governance
Published a research in Romanian and Serbian languages regarding the engagement of NGOs in the decision-making process in Zrenjanin municipality and area and Timisoara area
The workshop ‘Citizens as Partners’ from Zrenjanin, Serbia involved 35 participants from Serbia and five from Romania and increased the receptivity and participation of public authority representatives in the dialogue with the civil society
The three day institutional practice exchange in Timisoara and Arad gave eight NGOs and public institutions’ representatives from Serbia the opportunity to ‘learn by doing’, exposing them to different administrative systems and cultures
