Regional cross-border cooperation

Euroregional Mass-Media Meeting, 2001

Objective
To initiate contacts between local media institutions from Romania and FR Yugoslavia. The meeting was an opportunity to bring together important local independent press and radio representatives from the two countries and to discover new possibilities of reciprocal cross-border collaboration.

Outcome
30 directors and editors in chief from independent press and radio institutions from Romania and Yugoslavia attended.
Bilateral agreements regarding cooperation between radio stations were signed.
