Objective
To improve the cooperation and the consultative role of the civil society (NGOs and citizens) in public administration’s process of elaborating decisions.

Outcome
A mechanism for dialogue and cooperation was created:
Between NGOs and elected representatives – through periodical informal meetings between NGO members from Timisoara and Timis County and elected representatives for the City Hall and City Council, County Council and Prefectura Timis and representatives in the Parliament (Senat and Deputy Chamber) for Timis County
Between citizens and elected representatives – through a complex new functioning mechanism of communication and information, using various channels: webpage www.ecomunicare.ro, newspaper, radio, phone, where citizens addressed questions, suggestions, complains to the elected in the City Hall, City Council, County Council, Prefectura and Parliament. Citizens could also find information on the structure, functioning and role of the main public institutions.
